Short-Term Rehab FAQ

During a Medicare Part A stay, residents are typically seen six days a week for therapy. Our therapists will evaluate each resident to develop an individualized plan that focuses on their specific needs.

Residents must have a Medicare card that includes the words “hospital insurance.” They must also be admitted to the facility with a physician’s order within 30 days of a three-consecutive-night inpatient hospital stay. Generally, during the first 20 days of care, Medicare will pay 100 percent. For days 21 to 100, a daily coinsurance is required, which is currently $204 per day. Medicare Part A does not cover skilled nursing services beyond 100 days. Medicare Advantage Plan copays may vary.
